Saraki reacts to Osun rerun, describes it as biggest electoral fraud in Nigeria

Channels TV reports that Saraki, who is also a presidential aspirant in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), stated this while addressing journalists during his campaign tour in Kaduna state. Saraki accused the All Progressives Congress (APC) of rigging the election, stressing that the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Senator Ademola Adeleke, ought to have been declared the winner by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on Sunday, September 23. This, he said, is because Adeleke had polled the highest number of votes based on the vote count on Sunday, September 23. According to him, the alleged brazen rigging that characterised the rerun election shows that the ruling APC is desperately working to resist any form of opposition ahead of the 2019 election.
