Osun re-run: I will retrieve my stolen mandate at tribunal - Adeleke

- Senator Ademola Adeleke of the PDP has vowed to retrieve his stolen Osun governorship mandate at the Election Petition Tribunal
- He said that would be the next step for him and the opposition party to take - Adeleke insisted that his mandate will be retrieved and that the wish of the people will stand Senator Ademola Adeleke, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)’s governorship candidate in Osun state, has vowed to retrieve his ‘stolen mandate’ from the All Progressives Congress (APC)’s Gboyega Oyetola, at the Election Petition Tribunal. He made the comment in a chat with newsmen shortly before the returning officer, Prof Joseph Fuwape, announced the final figure for the Osun gubernatorial re-run election on Thursday, September 27, Punch reports.

NAIJ.com gathers that speaking through his brother, Dele Adeleke, the candidate said the PDP’s next step would be to proceed to the tribunal. He said: “It will be foolish to allow this 419 result to stand. The party will meet and I believe that the tribunal is the next step to take. “Adeleke’s mandate can’t be stolen, it will be retrieved. The wish of the people will stand at the end.
