Europa League: Sporting Lisbon vs Arsenal: Team news, injuries, possible lineups
Arsenal will Thursday evening take on Portuguese side, Sporting Lisbon in the Europa League fixture at the Estadio Jose Alvalade Stadium.
Arsenal head to the game following a 3-1 win over Leicester City in the Premier League on Monday.
The North London club and Sporting Lisbon have never met before in any European competition.
The Gunners manager, Unai Emery is expected to make little changes in his squad that defeated Leicester.
Goalkeeper Petr Cech and defender Sokratis, are both close to returning to first-team action following a spell on the sidelines.
Youngster, Smith Rowe will hope to feature for the Emirates club after impressing in the win over Qarabag earlier this month, while striker Danny Welbeck may also start for the visitors.
Meanwhile, Sporting Libon head to the game after losing 4-2 to Portimonese in their last Primeira Liga fixture.
Sporting manager, Jose Peseiro will hope to have defender Jeremy Mathieu back into his starting XI after welcoming the French player back to training at the start of the week.
Forwards Bas Dost and Raphinha are both injured, while Fredy Montero is likely to lead the attack line for the hosts.
